Abstract:
This paper establishes fixed point theorems for generalized Kannan-type mappings in modular $b-$metric spaces by using subadditive altering distance functions. The fixed point theorems presented in this paper extend the existing results for generalized Kannan-type mappings in $b-$metric spaces by adding the $\Delta_2 -$type condition into the modular $b-$metric space framework.
